Dr. Michelle Harcourt, DNP, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

At Rock Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, effective, and personalized mental health care in Twin Falls, Idaho. Founded by Michelle Harcourt, a nurse practitioner licensed in family with psychiatry speciality, with over seven years of experience, we strive to support individuals in achieving mental well-being and resilience through innovative treatments and holistic care.

Michelle brings a unique perspective to her practice as an Idaho native, a proud Army veteran, and a combat medic who served nine years, including a tour in Kirkuk, Iraq. Her background in high-pressure environments has shaped her empathetic and practical approach to treating mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicidal ideation.

Dr. Brittany Van Ness

Psychiatrist

Dr. Brittany Van Ness, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist based in Boise, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With extensive training in diverse settings—including urban and rural communities, as well as veteran populations—she understands the unique challenges faced by individuals from all backgrounds.

At Rock Behavioral Health, Dr. Van Ness offers personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, integrating therapy, medication management, and evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She provides telehealth appointments, including evening availability, to ensure accessible and flexible care for her patients. In her free time, Dr. Van Ness enjoys reading fantasy novels and staying active through regular exercise and outdoor adventures.

Dr. Mackenize Gustafson, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

Mackenzie offers compassionate care to promote mental wellness. Graduating from Idaho State University, she is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Mackenzie specializes in treating adolescents and young adults with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, and psychotic disorders. Tailored treatment plans are developed in collaboration with patients and their families. 

​

Mackenzie is committed to continuous education to ensure evidence-based practice. Her dedication to education extends beyond her own. Mackenzie precepts and mentors nurse practitioner students to support our next generation of mental health professionals.

Blending science and humanity, her understanding of the individual’s experience results in personalized, thoughtful care.

Outside of her professional activities, Mackenzie stays busy keeping bees, baking, gardening, and caring for (too many) animals. Her most cherished time is spent with her husband and two boys, camping, fishing, hiking, and living the moment.

SaCora Abshire, OTR/L, CPRP
Occupational Therapist

SaCora Abshire is a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Licensed Occupational Therapist, with over 8 years of experience in the field. She earned her Master's Degree in the Science of Occupational Therapy in 2016, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in her clients’ lives. As a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), SaCora specializes in enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing mental health challenges.

 

Born and raised in a small town in North Dakota, SaCora draws inspiration from her roots, embodying the values of hard work and community. Her love for the outdoors is reflected in her hobbies, which include kayaking, hiking, and spending time with horses. These passions not only fuel her personal life but also influence her therapeutic approach, as she believes in the healing power of nature and engaging in creative crafts.

 

SaCora is committed to providing holistic care that empowers her clients to achieve their personal goals and reclaim their independence. With a heart for service and a zest for life, she continues to inspire those around her, paving the way for positive change in the world of occupational therapy.

Jeremiah Neibling, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

Jeremiah Neibling, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and proud Idaho native. After earning his Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, he has spent over nine years caring for adults with a wide range of mental health needs, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and psychotic disorders.

Jeremiah believes treatment works best when it’s collaborative. He partners with patients to explore options and find what fits them best, drawing from his background in both outpatient and acute care settings to provide practical, grounded support. Blending clinical expertise with genuine compassion, he works to ensure each patient feels understood and empowered throughout their journey.

Beyond his professional work, Jeremiah enjoys gardening, reading science fiction and fantasy, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Shelby Close
Office Manager

Shelby Close serves as the Administrative Office Manager at Rock Behavioral Health, bringing over 10 years of experience in healthcare. Her career as a medical assistant spans multiple specialties, including behavioral health, where she developed a passion for supporting patients and their care teams. Shelby recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and is excited to apply her expertise in this new chapter with the Rock Behavioral Health team.


A Twin Falls, Idaho native, Shelby spent more than a decade living in Boise, Meridian, Layton, Utah, and Mountain Home Air Force Base before returning to her hometown in 2024. She and her husband, Matt, have been happily married for five years and are proud parents to their lively 3-year-old daughter, Adelyn, and their yellow lab, Remie. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys reading, camping, kayaking, and making meaningful memories with her family.

Shay Volkers
Receptionist 

Hi, my name is Shay Volkers—short for Shalena. I was born and raised here in Twin Falls, ID. I’m a proud mom to my 15-year-old son, Jayden, and recently married my husband, Clay. Our little family also includes a golden retriever named Pedro and a stray cat we adopted named Spud. In our free time, we love camping, fishing, and taking weekend road trips.
